The final score of the match read New York Yankees 4 and Los Angeles Angels 5. Angels had managed to get the winning run on the eleventh innings of the match.

This game was very crucial for the Angels and by winning the match they have narrowed the gap in the series. Mathis who did not have any excellent score this year was quite satisfied after the win. He was so excited with his performance that in an interview, he said, ” Obviously. it’s the biggest hit of my life.”

Apart from Jeff Mathis, Vladimir Guerrero and Howard Kendrick had also played well in the match. The tactful game that they had played in the Game 3 helped the team in defeating New York Yankees. Los Angeles Angels had lost many matches in the recent days and with this win, they are expected to revive their lost glory. ALCS game 3 between Yankees and Angels had been entertaining.

The match could have been more exciting if the teams had not missed several chances of scoring in the match. Yankees who are in a good form this season have been disappointed after the loss. It is expected that they would play well and make a comeback in the coming match.
