ept_sports_nfl_experts-442593271-1296174245Jan 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jeff Fisher, who has been the longest-tenured coach of NFL has finally been severed his ties with his franchise. The coach of the Tennessee Titans who had coached them for full 16 seasons has parted ways with the team after the completion of his 16th season. The fact that Jeff fisher will not be coaching the Tennessee Titans any more was confirmed on Thursday night by the team officials themselves.

For many including both inside the team, as well as for the outsiders, this surprising move has come across as a severe bolt from the blue. The Tennessee Titans in the later hours of Thursday officially released a statement where it was clearly stated that the 52 year old coach will no longer be a part of the team. Just before the final announcement, the team had already rendered hints that they were considering a negotiation with Jeff Fisher. The head coach’s moving out has thrown enough light to the Jeff Fisher-Vince Young relationship. It was not an unknown fact that the former coach and the quarterback were not at all on good terms. At the beginning of the month, Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams had already said that he was deciding to either release or to trade in the quarterback.

However, neither of the two survived with the team. Now with the head coach’s position being vacant after a long time, all eyes are just hooked on Mike Munchak, the team’s offensive-line coach, who has high chances of being named as the next head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Although Jeff Fisher’s next move remains unknown but buzz has it that he may join the Philadelphia Eagles as their next defensive coordinator.
