Palm Beach Garden (Florida), March 8 (IANS) Jeev Milkha Singh overcame a mid-round blip with a bogey-double bogey run to finish with a round of two-over 72 at the Honda Classic golf tournament.
Colombian Camilo Villegas clinched the title a two-under 68 in the final round that left him 13-under overall Sunday. American Anthony Kim finished second after turning in a 67 in the final round.

Jeev’s up-and-down 72 saw him finish at three-over 283 for the week and placed tied 35th, one place above his 36th at the end of the third round.

Jeev opened by parring the first two holes before finding his first birdie on the third. But a bogey on the sixth followed by a double bogey on the seventh saw him slip down. A birdie on the ninth was some consolation and he turned in one-over.

On the back-nine as Jeev dropped bogeys on the 12th and 17th, with a birdie in between on the 14th was not enough to break par.
