Jason CampbellDec. 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jason Campbell was injured in the game against the New York Giants that was held on Monday, Dec. 21. Thankfully, the injury was nothing too great and he came back to the field after some time and resumed playing. The injury of the Washington Redskins quarterback acted as more of a dampener in the already slacking performance of the team. Thus, it was obviously a relief when Jason Campbell, one of the best players came back and continued to play.

The incident occurred sometime around the half time. The Washington Redskins were very much in the losing end of the game, the score being 24-0. Jason Campbell was sacked from the back by Osi Umenyora, the defensive end for the New York Giants. From what it looked like, Jason Campbell had probably landed right on a ball. He seemed to have suffered a shoulder and a leg injury. However, he did not have to be carried off the filed, and limped back to the locker room. X-Rays were performed on him, but fortunately, the results did not reveal anything serious, and he was back on the field soon. The second half started with his return.

In fact, this was not the only time that the Washington Redskins quarterback got sacked in the game on Monday against the New York Giants. Earlier, he had gotten sacked by Jonathan Goff, something that resulted in the team losing six yards. When he had to leave for the locker room, his place was taken by Todd Collins, the veteran backup. Unfortunately, he could not make much progress and the team was thankful when Jason Campbell returned.
