Ivory Coast, Portugal share points in Group G draw
June 15th, 2010 - 11:18 pm ICT by IANSPort Elizabeth, June 15 (DPA) Ivory Coast and Portugal made disappointing starts to their World Cup football campaigns with a 0-0 draw in Group G at the Port Elizabeth Stadium Tuesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo hit a post in the first half and Didier Drogba cheered Ivory Coast fans by playing the last 25 minutes as a substitute with his FIFA-approved cast but neither side could break the deadlock.
Brazil can take full advantage of their big Group G rivals dropping points when they play North Korea at Ellis Park Johannesburg later Tuesday.
