Nov 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) To be or not to be is the situation right now prevailing in the Nebraska Cornhusker team. This dicey situation cropped up after news sprang up that Taylor Martinez has quit the team, to which coach Bo Pelini refuted, dispelling the news as a sheer rumor.

Saturday’s game at the Kyle Field in Texas saw a defeat of the Nebraska Cornhuskers to the Texas A&M Aggies. The match ended over a controversial result of 9-6. According to sources, Taylor Martinez was not seen taking his position as the quarterback for long, as he encountered an injury while the match was going on. Center man Mike Caputo had added an inch to the already existing ankle injury of Taylor Martinez by stepping on his ankle. This unfortunate accident taking place with the Nebraska Cornhusker quarterback occurred during the first half of the game. Another source adds that this incident had fumed the player, who was seen displaying his anger when he threw away his helmet. All this had naturally upset Bo Pelini who could not hold on to his calm any more and was seen to aggressively confront Taylor Martinez as the player returned to the sideline.

Sparks flew between the player and the coach which is the obvious reason being predicted for Taylor Martinez’s quitting from the team. On the field the Nebraska Cornerhuskers had already lost the battle to the rivals owing to their poor throws and penalties, whereas inside the locker room Taylor Martinez had lost his patience. Not even an hour had passed, after this incident happened, when the news of the player’s quitting from the team came up on the Internet.
