Is Sergio Garcia Still Heartbroken Over His EX-Girlfriend?June 20th, 2009 - 5:33 pm ICT by GD
Love is not always a bed of rose is what golfer Sergio Garcia is discovering in his present time. Its splitsville time for the Spaniard and he is still moaning the parting from his beloved. The downside to whole story is that the heartbreak is getting reflected in his game. Since his break up, he has been performing below his standard.
Sergio Garcia has reportedly admitted that since getting jilted by his girlfriend there has been a gradual slump in his over all performance, the result of which has been showing since mid March. The golfer who has been ranked at No. 2 at one of time in his career, is presently pushed down to No. 4. His poor performance in the present sessions has allowed English golfer Paul Casey to overtake him in the ranking list.
The golfer was dating Morgan Leigh Norman, who is the daughter of the Australian golfer Greg Norman. The duo had been together for quite sometime and Gracia had been head over heals in love with Morgan. The 29 year old Garcia was dumped by his girlfriend earlier in the year when the couple were together in Miami. He has said, “It hurt. It was probably the first time that I have been really in love. It took me a while to get over it.”
The break up has also taken a toll on his behavior, with the golfer always appearing irate in the recent months, both on and off the golf course. Earlier this week Garcia said, “A couple of personal things happened, and that didn’t help, then obviously you lose a little bit of confidence, and it’s harder to recover from that. But the good thing is it’s moving forward. I’m looking forward to the challenges.”
