East Lancing, Mich., Oct. 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Iowa Hawkeyes had played an outstanding match and scored victory upon the Michigan State team on Saturday. The final score of the match between the two teams read Iowa 15 while the Michigan team was restricted to only 13. Players of the Iowa team had given consistent performance in the recent matches and by winning the match against Michigan, they had remained undefeated in the series.

The match between the Iowa Hawkeyes and Michigan was filled with excitement. Both the teams had played well and had given tough challenges to each other. Victory came to the Iowa team in the last moment of the match. The touchdown pass of yards that the team received with Marvin McNutt and Ricky Stanzi’s coordination had helped the team win the last match against Michigan State team.

The Hawkeyes team was extremely excited after this win. Never before in their career the Hawkeyes team had scored 8-0 in the series. Hawkeyes fans were excited as the team had fulfilled their expectations. Rick Stanzi, in an interview after the match praised Martin and stated, “Obviously Marvin did a great job of getting open and the O-line did a great job of protecting.” Kirk Ferentz, the coach of Iowa team was also satisfied with his team’s performance.

Michigan team was disappointed after this defeat as they had played well in the game. They had dominated the Iowa players in different stages of the match. However, they could not resist them till the end. Iowa made an excellent comeback in the game and clinched victory at the final moment of the match.
