Inter Milan get Kenya midfielder Mariga
February 2nd, 2010 - 2:28 pm ICT by IANSRome, Feb 2 (DPA) Italian champions Inter Milan have acquired midfielder McDonald Mariga from Parma in exchange for French striker Jonathan Biabiany and Chile midfielder Luis Jimenez
Mariga, a 22-year-old Kenya international, was the first footballer from the African country to debut in the Serie A in 2007, the Inter website reported Monday.
Biabiany, 21, joined Inter’s youth team in 2004, but played only once with the first team as a substitute. Inter loaned him to Chievo and Modena before his arrival in 2009 at Parma, where he now plays as co-owned player.
Parma also welcomed Jimenez, 25, on loan from Inter after a stint at English side West Ham.
