Institute for Blind lift blind cricket trophy
December 4th, 2011 - 6:08 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS) The Institute for the Blind, Panchkuian Road, Sunday lifted the Eyeway Blind Cricket Challenger Tournament trophy, defeating the Blind School, Lodhi Road, by 8 wickets.
Winning captain Deepak Malik scored an unbeaten 58, which included 9 fours and one six, as his team easily raced to the target of 152.
Nirdosh hit 39 (seven fours) for the winning team, while Sher Singh took 3-23.
Satyam (46) and Gaurav Singh (30) were the top scorers for the J.P.M. Senior Secondary School, popularly known as the Blind School.
