Injured Sreesanth returns home, Laxman stays on for second Test
January 23rd, 2010 - 2:50 pm ICT by ANIDhaka, Jan.23 (ANI): Indian right-arm fast bowler S.Sreesanth will return home because of a thigh strain he suffered while bowling on the final day of the Chittagong Test.
Sreesanth will catch a flight to India on Saturday afternoon, and thus miss the second Test match against Bangladesh.
Middle-order batsman V V S Laxman, was also supposed to have left for India on Friday after injuring his left hand while fielding in the first Test. He had to have ten stitches to his hand, but was seen practising on the eve of the second Test with his non-injured right hand. (ANI)
