Injured Spur keeper Cudicini to be released from hospital today
November 20th, 2009 - 4:20 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Nov.20 (ANI): Totteham Hotspur goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is due to be discharged from hospital today, eight days after a horror motorbike smash.
Thirty-six-year-old Cudicini underwent surgery on his broken wrists and had a metal plate inserted in his pelvis.
His speedy recovery has stunned doctors, but he will undergo a final medical test this morning before being released, The Sun reports.
He will be on crutches for at least three months, but insists he will play again despite suffering what were described as ‘life-changing’ injuries. (ANI)
