Injured Lindsey Vonn Is ‘Optimistic’ About Winter Olympics 2010

British Columbia, Feb 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The talented skier, Lindsey Vonn, who has been awaiting for her chance to win a gold medal in the Winter Olympics of 2010 is heartbroken, after receiving shin injury. It has been reported that the 25 year old skier, who had high hopes for the Olympic Games might have to skip the event for the deep bruises in her shin.
According to the reports, Lindsey Vonn had been injured in the training session and was suffering from severe pain, when she was taken to doctor. It has been reported that the severe pain made the skier afraid of fracture in her shin. However, the latest reports do not indicate of a fracture but there are some anticipations that Lindsey Vonn might have to give up her hopes for the Olympic Games in Winter.
Lindsey Vonn is one of the most successful female skiers of the country and is defending the World Cup title for two times. Therefore, the news that she might not compete in the Winter Olympics is quite disappointing for many of his fans. It has been reported that the skier had planned to participate in five Alpine events, this year. Fans expected that she would win gold medal in at least two challenges but her wounds have jeopardize her chances in the Winter Olympics 2010. Though several speculations have started regarding her participation in the Winter Olympics, Lindsey Vonn, in a recent interview indicated that she is ‘optimistic’ and hopes that she would be all right when she starts skiing. The confident skier is not sure about the outcome yet she wants to give a try.
