Indian women lose to Japan in hockey
March 22nd, 2010 - 5:24 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 22 (IANS) The Indian women’s hockey team lost their third consecutive match against Japan, going down 0-3 at Gifu Green Stadium, Kakamigahara Monday.
Japan thus took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four match series, according to reports received here.
The home team won the first two matches with margins of 3-0 and 4-1, respectively.
India will play their last match Wednesday before going to Shanghai where they will play a three-match Test against Asian champions China.
