Indian board hires baseball coach as fielding consultant
December 4th, 2009 - 6:34 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Mumbai, Dec 4 (IANS) The Indian cricket board Friday appointed famous baseball coach Michael Young as the fielding consultant for the national team.
Young played for the Texas Rangers and in the past had coaching stints with New Zealand and world champions Australia.
Young comes in as a replacement for fielding coach Robin Singh, who was sacked unceremoniously along with bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad.
