Mumbai, Dec. 04, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Indian cricket team has been exhibiting a good form in the test series against the Sri Lankan team. They have won the second test match against the Sri Lankan team and now from their performance it appears that they are all set to win the third match as well. By winning the third test match against Sri Lanka, Indians will not only win the series but also will become the number one test team in the ICC ranking.
As the third test match between India and Sri Lanka has great significance for the Indian cricket team, every player is trying to put in their best. Indian bowlers did a remarkable job and restricted Sri Lanka to a score of 393 runs. Sri Lanka’s score of 393 runs did not seem to appear a big target for the Indian batsmen, who are in an outstanding form. Indian batsman Virender Sehwag had a superb innings and scored a double century. He scored 293 runs in only 254 balls before being dismissed on the third day of the match. It was quite disappointing for Virender Sehwag’s fans and the team that he missed his triple century by only seven runs yet he did a wonderful job as a batsman.
With the 293 runs from Virender Sehwag, the Indian team is in a strong position in the match. The Indian team has managed a lead of almost 100 runs over their opponent. The two veteran batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are on the field and it is expected that the Indian team will play a really great innings.
