India set 315-run target for Sri Lanka

Virender Sehwag Colombo, July 21 (IANS) India scored 314 for six in 50 overs after a shaky start against Sri Lanka in the first One-day International of the five-match series here Saturday.

Virat Kohli top scored with 106 and was well supported by Virender Sehwag (96) as the duo strung together a partnership of 173 runs.

Thisara Perera took three wickets for 70 runs. In an otherwise lacklustre bowling performance by the home side, Nuwan Kulasekara and Angelo Mathews took a wicket each.
