India-Pak WC semi-final on espnstar.com breaks Indian online streaming record

The live streaming of the match on www.espnstar.com/cwclive on March 30 exceeded 70 Gbps of video steaming data at its peak in India, according to Akamai.
Over 10 million streams were delivered on the match day.
The World Cup was a huge success for ESPN STAR Sports TV and online viewership.
Throughout the tournament, the World Cup Free Live Streaming section received more than 100 million views across the globe, serving 64 million video streams with the semi-final setting the new record.
The website, www.espnstar.com, generated more than 275 million page views in the time period February 15 till April 3.
On the India-Pakistan match day, the website delivered an impressive 29 million page views.
