India outclass Pakistan 4-1 in Hockey World Cup (Lead)
February 28th, 2010 - 11:49 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Feb 28 (IANS) India outplayed arch rivals Pakistan 4-1 in the Hockey World Cup pool B match here Sunday and a near-capacity Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium erupted in celebration here Sunday.
Sandeep Singh (2), Shivendra Singh and Prabhjot Singh scored for India to hand the home team a memorable victory and to give their World Cup campaign a big push on day one. Sohail Abbas was the Paksitan scorer.
India were leading 2-0 at half time.
