India opt to bowl against Windies in third Test

Harbhajan Singh Roseau (Dominica), July 6 (IANS) India won the toss and decided to bowl against the West Indies in third and final cricket Test at the Windsor Park here Wednesday.

India made one change in the side, with fast bowler Munaf Patel replacing Abhimanyu Mithun while the West Indies picked debutant Kieran Powell and Kirk Edwards in place of Lendl Simmons and Ramnaresh Sarwan.

This is the first Test to be played at the venue.

West Indies: Darren Sammy (captain), Kieran Powell, Adrian Barath, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Marlon Samuels, Kirk Edwards, Carlton Baugh (wicketkeeper), Ravi Rampaul, Fidel Edwards, Devendra Bishoo.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain/wicketkeeper), Murali Vijay, Abhinav Mukund, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Munaf Patel.
