India make 629/7 against Sri Lanka

Mumbai, Dec 4 (IANS) India made 629 for seven in the first innings, in reply to Sri Lanka’s 393, at tea on the third day of the third and the final cricket Test at the Brabourne Stadium here Thursday.
At the break, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was batting on 21 and Zaheer Khan on three. Virender Sehwag was the top scorer with 293.
