India lose to Iran in Asian Volleyball
September 2nd, 2012 - 8:13 pm ICT by IANSHanoi, Sep 2 (IANS) Iran beat India 3-1 on the second day of the Asian Men’s Cup Volleyball Championship in Vietnam’s northern Vinh Phuc province Sunday.
On the first day of the championship Saturday, Iran edged China 3-2 while India defeated Australia in three straight sets, Xinhua reports.
The tournament is being held from Sep 1-7 with the participation of eight teams in two groups.
Group A includes Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and Myanmar. Group B brackets China, Australia, India and Iran.
