India lose Perth Test by innings and 37 runs
January 15th, 2012 - 12:39 pm ICT by IANSPerth, Jan 15 (IANS) India lost the third Test against Australia by an innings and 37 runs after being bowled out for 171 in their second innings on day three here Sunday.
India, starting the day on 88 for four, were all out minutes after lunch.
Virat Kohli top-scored for the visitors with 75 while Rahul Dravid made 47. Ben Hilfenhaus took four wickets for Australia while Peter Siddle took three.
Australia had made 369 in their first innings in response to India’s opening day effort of 161.
