India junior hockey team for Tests in Pakistan

New Delhi, Oct 31 (IANS) The India junior U-21 hockey team, led by defender Diwakar Ram, will play a five-Test series in Pakistan from Nov 11-21. The team will play at Karachi, Rawalpindi, Faislabad, Sialkot and Lahore. The team:

Goalkeepers: Mrinal Chaubey (Sai Bhopal)and C. Santosh Kumar (Hyderabad)

Defenders: Diwakar Ram (Sail), Innocent Kullu (Railways), Manjit Kullu (Railways), Hari Kripal Yadav (Sai Lucknow)

Mid-fielders: Birendra Lakra(Sail), Amardeep Ekka (Orissa), Belsezer Horo(Railways),Vivek(Railways), Rupinder Pal Singh(Indian Oil), Mohd. Asif(Sai Lucknow)

Forwards: Pramod Kumar (ONGC), Jagwant Singh (ONGC), Mandip Antil (ONGC),Danish Mujtaba(Indian Oil), Dharamvir Singh (Air india), Jai Karan (U.P.) Mohd. Amir Khan (U.P.) and Karamjit Singh (Namdhari).

Chief coach: A. K. Bansal; Coach: Clarence Lobo; Trainer: Pradip Dutta; Umpire: G. S. Sangha; Manager: Rajeev Mehta.

Itinerary:

1st Test: Nov 11 at Karachi; 2nd Test: Nov 13 at Rawalpindi; 3rd Test: Nov 15 at Faisalabad; 4th Test: Nov 18 at Sialkot; 5th Test: Nov 21 at Lahore.
