India fall short by nine runs

Ross Taylor London, June 2 (IANS) Reigning world champions India lost their Twenty20 warm-up game against New Zealand by nine runs here at Lord’s Monday.
Chasing a target of 171 runs, India were restricted to 161 for six in their 20 overs.

Suresh Raina scored 45, Rohit Sharma 36 and Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten with 41.

New Zealand Skipper Daniel Vettori claimed three wickets for 24.
