India beat Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens to clinch series

Kolkata, Dec 24 (IANS) India defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the fourth one-day international (ODI) at the Eden Gardens here Thursday to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five match-series.
Sri Lanka scored 315 for six, the highest total at the Eden Gardens, but India chased it down in 48.1 overs.
Gautam Gambhir made an unbeaten 150 while Virat Kohli (107) scored his maiden ODI century to see India through.
The last ODI is scheduled at Delhi.
