India 178/8 against Australia at tea

Sachin Tendulkar Sydney, Jan 3 (IANS) India were struggling at 178 for eight in the first innings against Australia at tea on the first day of the second cricket Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) here Tuesday.

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was unbeaten on 44 while Zaheer Khan was the last wicket to fall before the tea break.

Sachin Tendulkar was bowled out by James Pattinson for 41.
