India 178/2 in first innings on day two

Sachin Tendulkar Hyderabad, Nov 13 (IANS) India were 178 for two in their first innings at the end of the second day of the second cricket Test against New Zealand here Saturday.

Rahul Dravid (7) and Sachin Tendulkar (11) were at the crease at the close, with India trailing by 172 runs.

Earlier, Virender Sehwag (96) and Gautam Gambhir (54) added 160 runs for the opening- wicket.

New Zealand were bowled out for 350 in their first innings shortly after lunch.
