ICC official passes away
January 29th, 2010 - 6:55 pm ICT by IANSKarachi, Jan 29 (IANS) Lt.Col. Nur Khawaja, the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) anti-corruption security manager for Pakistan and Bangladesh, has passed away.
In a statement Friday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt expressed his grief over the demise of Nur, who was also a former employee of the PCB.
“PCB prays that his soul rests in peace. May Allah Almighty give his family strength to bear this irreparable loss,” said Butt.
