I don’t fear being sacked: Ancelotti
January 6th, 2011 - 5:19 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 6 (ANI): Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has said he does not fear being sacked despite conceding that the club’s Premier League title challenge is over.
“I would be surprised if I am sacked. I am not fearing. I don’t have a fear. I have a worry because we don’t reach the result,” he said.
Defeat by struggling Wolves means Chelsea are fifth in the table, nine points behind leaders Manchester United having played a game more, The Sun reports.
Chelsea has taken 10 points from their last 11 games.
“We have to keep fighting for the title but you can say now that the gap is not good, a big gap,” he said.
“It’s not a good season but we have the FA Cup and Champions League and the most important thing now is to move on,” Ancelotti said. (ANI)
