Hurley affair fails to pull Warnie out of ratings hole
December 18th, 2010 - 4:49 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Dec 18 (ANI): The ratings for former cricketer Shane Warne’s talk show ‘Warnie’ have gone down despite the revelation of his relationship with actress Liz Hurley.
According to overnight figures, the show had just 762,000 people watching between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
The king of spin had also tweeted that he was feeling grumpy and down in the dumps.
“Not really a wink of sleep. Tossed and turned all night feeling extremely grumpy. Need cheering up today,” the Courier Mail quoted him as having tweeted.
The ratings were down compared with his debut audience of nearly 860,000 on November 26, but spun back from 486,000. (ANI)
