June 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The pitchman for Old Spice cologne and deodorants is back, still bare chested and full of humor, but no longer on horseback. The new ads for Proctor and Gamble’s brand of products for men features the former football player for Arizona state who was has a brief pro football career, Isaiah Mistafa drawing attention to his chest, and his self confidence. His first ad has gotten over eleven million views on YouTube.

The ad went online this morning, and is a 30 second commercial featuring the Old Spice Man log rolling swan diving, walking on water, and even baking a cake, after he begins the show with his cheery “Hello Ladies.” It is set to be aired on national television next week.

The campaign was launched by an agency which is based in Portlan Oregon called Weiden and Kennedy. It has scored quite well with the hunky Mustafa going from the shower to riding a white horse along the beach…backward, in the first spot. This airing won an award at the Cannes advertising festival and brought the thirty six year old Mustafa to sudden fame.

He stated that he tried to portray the cool confidence ans the charming ways of actors such as Robert Wagner, Adam West of Batman, and James Brolin, while still remaining true to the Old Spice theme of “manly man” appeal.
