Hockey World Cup: Germany beat Canada 6-0
March 3rd, 2010 - 7:48 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 3 (IANS) Defending champions Germany defeated Canada 6-0 in a Pool A clash of the Hockey World Cup at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here Wednesday.
For Germany, young striker Florian Fuchs scored two goals while Benjamin Wess, Jan-Marco Montag, Martin Haner and captain Max Muller struck once.
Germany were 4-0 up in the half-time. They have now four points from three matches after their first match against South Korea ended in a draw.
