Hiromu Naruse, Chief Toyota Test Driver Reportedly Dead

lfa_crash_g1Germany, June 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In an unfortunate development the chief test driver of Japan based Car giant Toyota motors, Hiromu Naruse has lost his life. The reports suggest that he was killed in a fatal car crash that took place in Germany on Highway 410. The 67 year old test driver was driving a Lexus prototype.

The cause of the accident is yet to be known. A spokesperson for the carmaker said that the company management is saddened by this unexpected and sad development. The company does not want to reveal much before an investigation takes place. His association with the company dates back to the year 1963.

He was deeply involved with test driving and developing a number of Toyota and Lexus cars. When the accident took place he was in a Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition. For some reason he lost control of his car and smashed into a BMW that was also being test driven by two other drivers.

The drivers in the BMW also sustained heavy injuries and one of them is still battling for his life. The video of the crash is now available in the internet. The cops have started a probe as the latest reports reveal. He was deeply involved with the development of the Lexus LFA supercar that he was driving.

The accident which caused his death took place near one of the Toyota workshops. Both the cars were heavily damaged in the accident as they were in high speed. He died on the spot and the severity of the collision can be understood from the pictures of the clash uploaded on the web.
