Hibernian goalkeeper Graham Stack arrested

Hibernia, Nov 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hibernia goalkeeper Graham Stack has been arrested for engaging in a bar brawl. The 30-year-old was held on suspicion that he assaulted male patron of the bar. The victim is believed to be in his 20s though his actually age was not stated in the report.

Daily Mail reports that Graham was arrested outside the nightclub on Sunday morning. He has since been given a bail and the police in Scotland say their investigation into the case in ongoing.

A police spokesperson told reporters that, “A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of ABH and taken into custody at a central police station. He was bailed pending further inquiries, returning in mid-January 2012. A man in his 20s suffering from facial injuries was taken to hospital and subsequently discharged.”

It is currently not known the extent of injury that the victim sustained but Graham will have to forget the incident in a hurry and concentrate on his work at Hibernia. The club is playing in the Scottish league and the distraction will no doubt be an unwanted distraction.

The club has not made any comments on the incident.
