Hewitt to assess tennis future after 2011 grand slams
January 11th, 2011 - 3:05 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Jan.11 (ANI): Australian tennis player Lleyton Hewitt has said that he will assess his future in the sport after seeing his performance in the grand slam tournaments of 2011.
Ranked 54 in the world, the former world No.1 says it is hard to gauge how high he can climb back up the ladder.
“It’s hard to say, I don’t play as many tournaments as those guys in the top ten. A lot depends on how I go in the four majors - for me ranking is not a big priority,” Fox Sports quoted Hewitt, as saying.
He added: “If I do what I’m capable of doing in those tournaments the ranking will take care of itself.” (ANI)
