brockJan 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brock Lesnar, the heavyweight champion, appeared on the show “SportsCenter” in ESPN on Wednesday, Jan 20. Earlier, it had been decided that the Ultimate Fighters Challenge will be holding a press conference on the same matter, but then Brock Lesnar decided to appear in SportsCenter himself, in order to give the most recent updates on his health. Brock Lesnar had not stepped into the ring ever since July last year, due to severe health problems, but he is scheduled to reappear on the scene this year.

Brock Lesnar was forced to withdraw from the championships in July after he felt terribly sick. He was initially diagnosed with some kind of flu, after which he got afflicted with mononucleosis. Finally, he had to be treated for diverticulosis. Brock Lesnar spoke about his illness, and the immense pain that he had to go through, and in the end, the almost miraculous recovery that he managed. In fact, even the doctors he saw were amazed at the fact that he did not have to undergo a major surgery that would have involved the partial removal of his colon.

Brock Lesnar further spoke on his illness, mentioning that the worst part of the whole thing was being treated in Canada. He admits that it had not been a very good experience, as he had not been able to procure proper treatment in the state, something that had been readily available in the United States. On the other hand, he insisted that he has nothing against the country personally, but it is just that he would prefer to be treated in the United States to Canada, given the choice.
