Harmison admits that he may have played is last Ashes Test
August 27th, 2009 - 12:50 pm ICT by ANILondon, Aug.27 (ANI): England fast bowler Steve Harmison has admitted he may have played his last Ashes Test.
“I’d love to go to Australia. But I would be 32 then and there’s no chance of my body being anywhere near ready to take on Australia again. I’ve been doing this for a long time now. I would be very surprised if I went to South Africa this winter and then to Australia,” The Sun quoted the 30-year-old Durham bowler, as saying.”I want to play cricket for England. If it’s not right then I am happy to stand aside and let someone else have a go. My first main concern is to win the next two games for Durham and secure a second championship in a row,” Harmison said. (ANI)
