Hank Baskett to marry Kendra Wilkinson
June 8th, 2009 - 8:45 pm ICT by GDNFL player Hank Baskett is set to marry former “Playboy” playmate Kendra Wilkinson. The wedding date has been set on June 27, 2009. The Philadelphia Eagles player recently announced his engagement to the former “Girls Next Door” beauty. Ex boyfriend, “Playboy” mogul Hugh Hefner was supposed to attend the wedding and walk her her down the aisle. But Wilkinson changed her mind on that and had Hefner was replaced by her brother, who will be giving her away to Baskett.
Kendra’s reality show “Kendra” was premiered on E! last evening at 10 p.m. The episode focused on her journey after leaving the Playboy Mansion, getting engaged and the preparations that’s going in to making her wedding a big affair. The wedding will be held in the Playboy mansion.
Hank, a wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles, had popped the marriage proposal to Kendra last Saturday. He used to play college football at New Mexico before he was signed on as an undrafted free agent by Minnesota Vikings in 2006.
TVGuide.com got in touch with Kendra via email to find out how the wedding plans were shaping up. The soon to be bride reported that she was planning on having a fairy tale wedding and ex playmates Bridget and Holly would be turning up for the wedding as bridesmaids. The relations between the former playmates have improved after Kendra left the mansion.
In the following episodes of “Kendra”, the model along with fiancé Baskett will let viewers know how well the two know each other and how they are getting along. Hank Baskett presently is in the 2009 off season. He is a restricted free agent and on February 26, he was tendered a one year contract.
