London, Apr 3(ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has hailed manager Sir Alex Ferguson for inspiring the club’s breathtaking Premier League comeback against West Ham United.
United looked to be letting Arsenal and Chelsea back into the title race when they trailed 2-0 at half-time at Upton Park.
However, Ferguson, who was forced to watch from the stands, went all out attack as a quickfire Rooney hat-trick and a Javier Hernandez strike sealed the three points.
“Dimitar Berbatov was fantastic for us holding up the ball and making things happen. The substitutions were good substitutions and they won us the game,” the Sun quoted Rooney, as saying. (ANI)
