Feb 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlory has reiterated that he is tired of hearing the widespread speculations regarding the much anticipated comeback of Tiger Woods and believes that the World No.1 golfer should be back in action as early as possible. Moreover, the World No.8 golfer also added that he is really looking forward to witness Tiger Woods returning to the golf course.
Rory McIlory, who is currently participating in the Accenture matchplay championship in Arizona, stressed that Tiger Woods finally has to come back to the game of golf and it will be good if he makes his comeback early. The Northern Irish sportsperson also expressed hope that the World No.1 golfer would divulge details about his much speculated return to his golfing career when he makes his first public appearance on Friday since reports accusing him of being involved in multiple extramarital affairs came to the limelight. Moreover, Rory McIlory also speculated that the scheduling of Tiger Woods press conference while a tournament sponsored by one of his former sponsors Accenture is being held, might have broader implications. The golfer implied that it might have been done by Tiger Woods to get back at one of his sponsors who severed ties with him in the wake of the controversy.
Tiger Woods has not been seen in public since reports linking him with as many as 19 women hogged the limelight following the car crash outside his Florida home in November last year. However, the golfer would be releasing a statement this Friday at the PGA Tour’s headquarters although he is unlikely to take any questions from the media.
