jeremyJuly 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After Golden State Warriors traded guard C.J. Watson to the Chicago Bulls, the team is all set to welcome guard Jeremy Lin. As per reports, the 6-foot-3 and 200 pound guard is all set to sign a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors team. Although the details of the deal has not been revealed yet, some sources close to the team and the player have revealed that Jeremy Lin and the Golden State Warriors were on the verge of finalizing a deal on Tuesday night. A team source has confirmed reportedly that the deal is partially guaranteed in the first year and comes with a team option for the Golden State Warriors in the second year.

Jeremy Lin though remained undrafted out of Harvard, caught the interest of several teams during his play in the summer league under the team of Dallas Mavericks in Las Vegas. The player caught the interest of not only the Golden State Warriors team but also of Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and an Eastern Conference team. Many initially thought that the player would go for the Dallas Mavericks but sources claim that he chose the Golden State Warriors team as it provided him with a two- year partially guaranteed deal.

However, in the NBA team of the Golden State Warriors, Jeremy Lin will have to put double effort to live up to the expectation of his team that traded guard C.J. Watson recently. Jeremy Lin has played mainly as a shooting guard with some works as a point guard. In the new team he will have to act as a full-time point guard and project behind Stephen Curry who is the starting point guard of the team.
