Gold for Tomar, Laxminarain in Asian Rowing
October 17th, 2011 - 8:40 pm ICT by IANSChennai, Oct 17 (IANS) India came away with one gold, five silver and two bronze medals in the 14th Senior and 17th Junior Asian Rowing Championships at Hwacheon, South Korea, over the weekend, according to the Rowing Federation of India.
Skokender Tomar and Sonu Laxminarain in a LM2x won the lightweight men’s double sculls, defeating teams from Hong Kong, South Korea and China, the release said. It did not name the other Indian medal winners.
