New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) Unlike his Australian teammates Shane Warne and Shane Watson, Adam Gilchrist is not unduly rattled by the Jaipur serial blasts and has no plans of leaving the Indian Premier League midway. Gilchrist expressed sympathy with the blast victims and said he is satisfied with the security arrangements provided by the IPL organisers.

“The incident in Jaipur was very tragic. Lots of lives were lost and I have full sympathy with the victims,” Gilchrist told reporters after Thursday’s match against Delhi Daredevils.

“IPL has been a fantastic tournament and the security people have done a great job. There is no reason to be worried. I am satisfied with the security arrangements,” he said when asked whether the Australian players have any fears after the serial blasts in Jaipur.

Rajasthan Royals captain Warne, Watson and South African skipper Graeme Smith have reportedly expressed their concern following the blasts Tuesday.

The trio, who were holidaying in Goa, even thought of returning home but they changed their plans after IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi addressed their apprehensions and explained to them the adequate security measures in place in the aftermath of the blasts.
