Feb 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joe Stevenson got defeated by George Sotiropoulos in the UFC 110 lightweight fight which took place on Saturday. The game showed that George Sotiropoulos has the guts to fight back the number one position defending champion Joe Stevenson. The fighting showed some tricky and brilliant moves from both the sides, which were counter attacked brilliantly.

The first round of the fight was in the grip of George Sotiropoulos, but in the second round the veteran managed to put up some brilliant punches. This made the game all the more interesting and exciting but it seemed that George Sotiropoulos was determined to win the game as he hit back with counter moves. The third round was all set for George Sotiropoulos it seemed, who was then unanimously declared the winner with a 30-27 lead. George Sotiropoulos delivered some well known dangerous moves like hammer fists, with which he landed on Joe Stevenson and then goes on to put a mount. He went for a kimura also in the first round, which made the crowd cheer out loud.

In the second round, Joe Stevenson managed a takedown. It was in this round that George Sotiropoulos went in for some brilliant punches and arm locks, along with an ending Anaconda choke. In the third round though, George Sotiropoulos looked a little bit tired. At one point of time in the game, Joe Stevenson attempted a takedown which was dodged by George Sotiropoulos. Towards the end, Joe Stevenson’s moves were controlled by George Sotiropoulos, whose determined efforts led him to win at the end.
