Feb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that some sportsmen and players are not aware about the implications of sharing their personal stuff online and what their actions can mean to others. The incidents of players sharing their intimate pictures with their loved ones online are not uncommon. However, when the relations sour, those same people can use those so called personal stuff to embarrass and humiliate their ex-flames. It has happened to a number of celebrities and players in the past. The San Antonio Spurs player George Hill has hit the headlines recently for a controversy regarding his naked pictures that he sent to a former girlfriend. He admitted that it was a mistake he had made a year back and repented the same.

The player said that he has learnt his lesson from the fiasco and would not repeat the same mistake again. Incidentally, George Hill is the second player of NBA to get embroiled in a nude picture scandal. Earlier, Portland Trail Blazers player Greg Oden, got entangled in a similar controversy. His nude pictures got wildly circulated online [which he had sent to his girlfriend]. In both the cases, the players made use of their cell phones to shoot those images. They probably did not realize what their actions could turn into later.

The naked images of George Hill have appeared in a site named The Dirty.com. A lawyer representing the Spurs’ player, shot a letter to the site owners threatening stern legal actions. He asked them to remove the pictures. However, the site owners seem to have the guts to take it lightly. Their lawyer shot back saying the allegations lack merit.
