Gazza head butts a bouncer following smoking row
October 20th, 2009 - 1:36 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Oct.20 (ANI): Former England football great Paul Gascoigne left a bouncer reeling in agony after head-butting him in a row about smoking in a snooker club.The shocking assault was captured on CCTV as the doorman told a drunken Gazza to leave for lighting up, The Sun reports.
Moments later Gazza tried to apologise by kissing bouncer Paul Hindle on the cheek.
Paul said he did not want to press charges.
Ex-soldier Paul, 30, said: “I survived Basra without a scratch, then come home to Newcastle and get beaten up by Gazza. I couldn’t believe it. It hurt like hell - I had a headache for a day.” (ANI)
