Pasadena, Jan 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Texas Longhorns had a bad day at the game against Alabama on Jan 7. They lost two of their key players, Colt McCoy and Garrett Gilbert, and lost the game too, probably as a consequence of the fact. In fact, Garrett Gilbert himself had come into the game as the replacement of Colt McCoy, the quarterback of the team. By the time Garrett Gilbert came into the game, the Texas Longhorns were already trailing behind by a good margin, but somehow, that cannot be taken into account, considering the power packed performance that the replacement quarterback put up.
The outcome of the game was pretty much decided right from the beginning. It was quite obvious that the Texas Longhorns had no chance to carry on their 13 game winning streak in the 14th one. However, with the entry of Garrett Gilbert, things began to look up a bit. He managed to take the score up and narrow the margin down to about 24-21. There seems to be some chances of winning, albeit a pretty slim one, with only 6 minutes left in the game.
Unfortunately for the player, his good luck and that of the University of Texas came to an end with a fumble. With 3 minutes and four seconds left in the game, the University of Texas team got the chance to make a shot. At precisely the sane moment, Erik Anders, the linebacker for the University of Alabama team, smashed into the Texas quarterback, who fumbled. As a consequence of the fumble, the University of Alabama team managed to score two touchdowns, resulting in the huge difference in the final scores.

From your post: The outcome of the game was pretty much decided right from the beginning. It was quite obvious that the Texas Longhorns had no chance to carry on their 13 game winning streak in the 14th one.
DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME?
Longhorns got 2 field goals in the first 2:07 minutes of the game. They were up 6-0 with a strong start from Colt McCoy’s a botched fake punt attempt by Alabama. A strong start in my opinion.
