Nov 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The New Hanover Wildcats are set for the forthcoming season. This time they are promising that they will storm onto the basketball floor with all that extra boom that needs to be there for the title victory. Freddie Jackson is their new floor general. The team is counting to a great extent on this young player and expectations are surely running high from him.
According to sources, New Hanover Wildcats had been practicing hard all through the summer and the pre-season, concentrating mainly on their speed. Team coach Kirk Angel told the media that this was something that the boys have been doing back to back. He earnestly hopes that all these will help them put up a fast performance in the court. Last time, New Hanover Wildcats had come away with the Mideastern Conference boys basketball title, marching all the way ahead to the state quarterfinals with plenty of exuberance. The two low-post powers who had earlier led the team through most of the team’s games are now gone, but with an excellent point guard like Freddie Jackson, the team has enough hope left for the next season.
The young player is believed to possess a combination guard with a good size that is much needed for the transition game, which is why Kirk Angel is eagerly looking forward to Freddie Jackson. Basketball experts consider Freddie Jackson as an excellent rebounder for a guard on both the ends of the floor. Supporters of New Hanover Wildcats are surely hoping that Freddie Jackson can take his team to a great extent with his tight handle and good passing skills, that gives an edge when it comes to double assist.
