Frank Lampard urges teammates to end off-the-pitch antics
March 6th, 2010 - 1:16 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 6 (ANI): English footballer Frank Lampard has urged his teammates to stop their off-the-pitch antics and focus on the game.
The player’s teammates John Terry and Ashley Cole have been in the headlines for their extra-marital affairs.
“There’s a lot of off-the-pitch stuff going on,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
He added: “But everyone I speak to is saying: ‘Come on now - enough is enough.’ They are bored of it day in, day out. It’s all negative stuff. We have to concentrate on getting behind the team.”"
However, Lampard insisted England were now “in the zone” for the World Cup.
